HOMESICKNESS
When children are away from home for the first time, it is reasonable to assume that, until they become adjusted to camp and their surroundings, they may experience homesickness of either a mild or severe form. Homesickness is a very real thing; it is just as painful as a stomachache or a sore back. Understanding parents realize that this is something a child may need to experience and see through to the finish if she is to attain the growth of independence, which is necessary to make her a self-reliant individual. The office phone at Camp Robindel will be covered each day to receive your calls should you have any concern about your child. They will relay the message to us and we will get back to you. Their telephone number is (603) 253-9271, and their fax is (603) 253-7886.
FOOD FROM HOME
We ask that the girls not bring food from home. It attracts wild life and when shared with other girls, who may not be used to sweets, can create a “sugar high”.
LOST AND FOUND
There will be a designated area for lost and found items. Any camper who is unable to find a lost item should advise her camp counselor.
